1) Open the "My Computer" Icon from your Desktop
2) Inside "My Computer" you will see another folder titled "Dial-Up Networking" Double-Click this folder. 
3) Now, Double-Click the Make New Connection Icon.
4) In the Computer Name Box enter the name of the connectioin you are creating,(i.e. Access Now; or Internet Connection) 
5) Click Next
6) In the AREA CODE Leave this blank,(it might confuse your computer) ; In the Telephone Number box, type the LOCAL access number you recieved in your packet or over the phone.
7) Click Next
8) Now it should say CONGRATULATIONS, you have successfully created a connection...
9) Click Finish at the bottom and on to creating a desktop shortcut
10) SINGLE-Click on the Account name you just created in the "Dial-up Networking" Window, now click the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON over the icon you just created. Up comes a pop-up box, we will now click the Create Shortcut Icon.
 Note: It will bring up something along the lines of an error or problem it encounters, but agree to what it is saying.
11) On your desktop, select the account icon you just created (you might need to hunt on your desktop for the icon) Double-Click the icon and it will take you to the connection screen
12) Now we are ready to type in your user name and password and connect you to the internet. Note:your user name and password are both case sensitive and must be typed in correctly to avoid any delay or problems with the connection.
13) Select the user name box and type in your User Name; remember, case sensitive.
14) Select the password box and type in your Password; remember, case sensitive.
15) Once you have done steps 12 and 13 you are ready to click the CONNECT button at the bottom.
You are now being connected to the internet. Open up INTERNET EXPLORER or NETSCAPE to begin browsing the WORLD-WIDE-WEB !
